Cindy
Grooters has been teaching for eighteen years and has made a
difference in countless lives. She received her B.A. from Western
State University and obtained her Masters Degree at Lesley
College. She taught Fourth Grade at M.V.C.K.S. for years, until
her own family began to grow. Upon returning from China with a
beautiful daughter named Luci, Mrs. Grooters was able to enjoy a year
with her family before returning to the classroom as a part time Fifth
Grade teacher. Her husband, Dave, plays with Luci and Grace, their
other family member (a Black Lab) when the work days roll around.
The arrangement has benefited all, and been a wonderful balance.
This year, Mrs. Grooters returns to Fourth Grade to pick up where her
expertise awaits an adventure of a lifetime, including another trip to
China in August to bring home Olivia, their second Sunshine! What a gift
this year will be. |

Zamarripa has been teaching for five years and has created an
abundance of fond memories. She received her B.A. from the
University of Northern Colorado and recently renewed her teaching
license by attending educational classes. She has taught Fourth
and Fifth Grade and even had the opportunity to loop with her first
class from Fourth to Fifth. She certainly developed a motherly
bond with that special group. Mrs.Zamarripa has a husband, Brian,
who teaches Math at C.C.H.S. and a beautiful baby boy, Dimitri who
learns about this big new world every day. Her furry four-legged
family members are Sable and Soloman, two amazingly brilliant
dogs. Mrs. Z's mother plays with Dimitri on days that she has fun
in the classroom. What a fabulous life! |
