How Many Books are Students allowed to check out?

Normally Kindergarten students, First grade and Second grade check out one book per visit to the library.  They are allowed to keep this book until they return again with their class or for 2 weeks.  After 2 weeks I will ask them about their book as a kind reminder.

When students are in 2nd grade they also get to check out 2 books on Tuesdays or "Two for Tuesday".  They never seem to forget when it is Tuesday.

Third through Sixth grades are allowed to check out anywhere from 2-3 books per visit.  This amount is flexible when students are working on projects.  They are allowed to check out as many as they, the teacher and I feel that they can be responsible to bring back.

For questions regarding overdue, missing or damaged books please click on Questions.
