Welcome to Lincoln Elementary School Library!

My name is Mrs. Patrick and I am the Library Tech at Lincoln Elementary School.  I grew up in Canon City, Colorado and graduated from Canon City High School.  After living several places my husband and I returned to Canon City to raise our children.  Upon returning I began to volunteer at my daughter's elementary school which was Lincoln Elementary School.  I volunteered for several years before I decided that I might like to work at Lincoln Elementary School.  Eventually I took classes and received my Library Technician's Certificate from Pueblo Community College.  I have been working at Lincoln Elementary School for 7 years. I have been in the library for 6 of those 7 years.

One of the things I love about Lincoln School is how my co-workers treat each person with Dignity and Respect.  Staff and students alike have been trained in various aspects of the Discovery Program.  This program has created a definite culture here at Lincoln!

One of my on-going goals for the Lincoln Elementary School Library is to meet both student and staff needs in a proactive and flexible manner.
