Music
at Lincoln School involves singing, playing instruments, moving to
music, listening, and creating. Students participate in a wide variety
of activities centered on the basic musical elements of rhythm, melody,
harmony, dynamics, form, tempo, tone color and style. All grade levels
participate in a combined physical education and music Rhythm and Dance
Unit. Each class presents several major musical performances between
kindergarten and sixth grade. Intermediate students may participate in
the Enrichment Chorus, which usually performs for the Christmas Concert.
