My
child, _______________________________ , who is in the ______ grade, has
my permission to attend Before-School Sports at Harrison School during the
2003 - 2004 school year.
I
have read and understood this discipline policy:
Our
goal is for your child to have a fun and safe sports experience. For that
reason we emphasize playing games in a safe manner, and we teach the
children what good sportsmanship is.
If
a child exhibits poor sportsmanship or dangerous behavior, he or she
receives a strike.
-
1st
strike: note home to parents, and miss the next day of sports. Note
must be brought
back signed.
-
2nd
strike: note home to parents, and miss one whole week of sports. Note
must be
brought
back signed.
-
3rd
strike: note home to parents, and loss of privilege to participate in
Before-School Sports
After
three strikes, if a student wants to earn his or her way back into
Before-School Sports, this is possible. A plan needs to be arranged with the
sports coaches, and signed by parents, coaches, principal, and the student.
I
also understand that Before-School Sports is from 8:15 to 8:35, and I am
responsible for arranging transportation for my child in order to
participate in this activity.
