Learning Expectations 

Read out loud to an adult for a minimum of 5 minutes each night

Practice sight words or word lists that are sent home each night

Come prepared to class with signed slip that they had read to an adult the night before along with any materials that went home

Be to class on time

Come prepared to work

Apply the strategies they have learned to their reading at school and at home

Challenge themselves to move up in their reading levels

Take Accelerated Reader tests on the books they have read to increase their comprehension (Click on the Accelerated Reader button above to learn more about certification levels.)
