GRADES

 

     A. B. C grades are not given in K-2 Special Education.  Parents of children with special needs will receive a quarterly report, except in the quarter of the child's annual or triennial review.  Progress is reported with these codes:

NE-Not Evidenced (skill/behavior is rarely or never demonstrated, even with cues)

NYP-Not Yet Proficient (skill/behavior is demonstrated inconsistently, even with prompts)

P--Proficient (skill/behavior is demonstrated consistently over time with only occasional prompts)

                                      A-Advanced (skill/behavior is generalized with no prompts or cues)
