Minimum Example one:

Grades in each subject are based on class activities, homework assignments, and tests.  In math and reading, a portion of the grades are also based on Accelerated Math and Accelerated Reading.  For example, in Accelerated Math approximately forty percent of the math grade is based on the program because students work on this two days of the week for math.  Out of the forty percent, twenty percent is based on test percentages and the other twenty percent is based on the number of objectives mastered.

Students can come in to check the status of their grades outside of class time.  If parents ever have any questions about their fifth grader's grades, they may always contact me or send a note requesting a grade report.  Thanks!

Minimum Example two:

Grading Policy

During the first quarter students receive training and are graded on the projects they produce.  For the remaining three quarters, students are graded upon the  their finished publication assignments based upon the quality of these assignments.  Of overriding importance is that students finish their assignments by their assigned deadline.

Minimum Example three:

Grading in geology is based upon field trips, test scores, quizzes, quarter projects, worksheets, labs and notebooks.  These assignments vary in points.  The final grade is calculated by dividing the students total points earned by the total points possible.  To read more information on my grading scale and policies, please see the COURSE SYLLABUS page.

Look on more pages for additional examples several of these are rated beyond the minimum presentation.
