CCHS Design & Drafting National Contest Results:

The American Design Drafting Association sponsors a national computer aid design contest each year.  Cañon City High School competes against other high schools and two-year colleges. There are seven categories in this contest with four places in each category.  CCHS won half of the 28 possible places. The results of the 2002 contest are as follows:

* CCHS Students use Cadvance 2000 software for most of their drawings.

There is a large display of the drawings and these results in the hall outside the design drafting lab.  CCHS is rated 1^st in the nation for 2003 in the ADDA CAD Category for high schools in the nation.
