   Lab conduct

Good job! No one was forced to redirect you because of the behavioral choices you made while in the lab.

You were asked to stay on task once.

You were redirected more than once.

Upon completion, you and your partner will present your research project to the class.  Your PowerPoint show will demonstrate to the class just how hard you worked on this assignment.  Remember, our goal is to produce a presentation that is both aesthetically pleasing and intellectually informative.

The Battle of the Alamo

This is an enrichment assignment in which 5 to 7 students research and recreate the people and battles of the Texan Revolution and then present to the rest of the class, who have spent the week studying America's westward movement.

The two enrichment assignments are: 1) Make a six to seven slide Powerpoint presentation about a specific aspect of the Texan Revolution. 2) Build a scale model of the Alamo, which will be used in a battle reenactment.

Susan works on the popsickle stick model of the Alamo.

The battle reenactment is underway as plastic soldiers fight hand to hand to determine who will rule Texas.
