To
receive an “A" for the first nine week grading period you must
submit a copy of the “Cooperating Teacher’s Preparation Report” (examples
available, see Mr. Geesaman) and the FTA evaluation sheet
completed by your cooperating teacher through e-mail.
The evaluation report must clearly show that you have done at least
8 of the 12 objectives listed. To
receive an “A” for the second nine weeks you must also submit the
report called “My Preparation Plan for a Career in Education” (examples available
on CD) and your cooperating teacher must submit an
updated evaluation by e-mail showing that you have completed all 12
objectives listed. To
receive a “B" for the first nine week grading period your
cooperating teacher must submit the evaluation by e-mail.
The evaluation report must clearly show that you have done at least
8 of the 12 objectives listed and you have good attendance.. To receive a “B” for the second nine weeks your cooperating teacher must submit the evaluation by e-mail showing that you have completed all 12 objectives listed and you have good attendance. |

If you take FTA for more than two 9 week sessions and want to get an "A" you will be assigned special projects by Mr. Geesaman each additional 9 weeks. The projects are usually PowerPoint presentations, videos, scrapbooks, web sites or other special teaching aids for classroom use. Additional Information about the 3rd & 4th Quarter |
