CSU-Pueblo Senior-to-Sophomore Program |
|
 |
University credit at
the high school level: |
Students will have the opportunity to earn college
credit through Colorado State University-Pueblo. Advanced Computer
Applications provides dual credit to students who enroll in the Senior-to-Sophomore program. Students can earn three college credits
in Computer Information Systems and can transfer those credits to most
universities with in the state of Colorado.
 |
Tremendous
savings on tuition: |
On-campus tuition (including fees) is presently
$130.00 per credit hour plus books and added lab fees. Because
of the unique structure of this program, CSU-Pueblo can offer these
credits to our students for ONLY $45.00 per credit hour
(including all fees and books). In comparison, CSU students pay
393.90 plus books on campus for the 3 computer credits, compared to
$130.00 total for Senior-to-Sophomore students.
 |
Not just for those planning to attend
CSU-Pueblo: |
The credits will be on a CSU-Pueblo transcript,
however, those credits will easily transfer to most
universities. Students should check with the school they plan to
attend for credit transfers. If students enroll in several
courses, they could complete enough credit hours to be a sophomore at
a university by the time they graduate from high school!
 |
Easy to register: |
Instructors and counselors at CCHS will let students
know what classes are available for university credit. A CSU-Pueblo
representative will visit all STS classes to orient students about the
program and distribute registration material.
