Accelerated Math require the students to score at least 80% on all practices before they are ready for a test.  Students must score at least 80% on the test before the objectives on the test are considered "mastered".  They must also maintain the mastered objectives by scoring at least 80% on review questions given randomly on practices beginning two weeks after the mastery date. 

     Each Friday students will bring home the week's math work.  On each assignment you will find a TOPS Report showing the grade, the student's percentages of correct answers, the problems missed with the correct answer.  Please take time to go over these papers with your child. Since the Accelerated Math program is an individualized program the children can move along as fast as they are willing to work.  Pleas encourage your child to use math time wisely and diligently work on math problems in an attempt to accomplish as much as possible.
