Grading System |

Grades are a necessary part of school life. Our current grading system at Fremont Elementary is based on the Colorado State grading scale. Grades are determined from classroom work, homework, participation, and teacher observation. We are on a tri-mister grading system. Your student will be getting an official grade card about three times--about Thanksgiving, at Spring Conference time, and the end of the year.

| 94%-100% A Advanced (student is
working beyond grade level expectations).
80%-93% P Proficient (Student is working at grade level expectations). 64%-79% PP Partially proficient (Student is working below grade level expectations). 63% and below U Unsatisfactory (Student is working far below grade level expectations). |
