Television is a brain cell killer.

Children have a much better chance to succeed without television and video games in their room.

Try counting the hours your child is reading and how many they they are watching television. If reading doesn't win....then reading doesn't win.

Read to your kids!!!

Ask them questions about their reading!!!

Show them reading is important by reading yourself!!!

Homework is important.

Have a clean place for your children to work.

Stay nearby in case they have questions.

Ask them questions about what they are doing.
