As students complete a math book, packet, or level, they may receive a Certificate of Accomplishment.  They also earn coupons for completing homework, helping other students, staying on task, etc.  Later they will trade each "coupon" for 2 cents. Eventually, they can trade pennies for nickels or dimes and use at our class store to buy patches to make pillow tops. We also have small items they can buy with their class money such as pencils or small toys.
