Bienvenidos al mundo hispanohablante!  Welcome to the Spanish-speaking world!

It is a pleasure to have your teen in Spanish this year, and I welcome you and your child to the wonderful world of Spanish.  Did you know that the United States is the fifth largest Spanish-speaking nation in the world?  And did you know that by studying a foreign language, a student's I.Q. can actually increase?  In addition, the military and many other employers pay their people more money if employees can speak Spanish fluently.

These are just a few reasons why a students should study Spanish, the most practical second language in the Southwest.  My goal is for your teen to learn Spanish in a fun and exciting manner along with picking up cultural tidbits and gems along the way.  I hope s/he will come to love the language and culture as much as I do!

If you ever have any concerns or questions call me at my school phone,  276-5901.
