Daily or Weekly First Grade
Assignments |
| Your child will receive a new Word Wall
list each Monday. The list will consist of five or six words that
your child will need to learn to read and spell by Friday.
By the end of the year, your child will know all of the words on the
first grade sight word list. |

| Your child will bring home a
reading log and a book to read every night. Please read by/with/or
to your child for at least fifteen minutes each night and help
record the title of the book in the reading log. Your
child will return the reading log and book each day in his/her folder. |
