You will explore Mayan ruins, tropical rainforests, Native American tribes, and much, much more! The Lincoln art program is a weekly part of our student's educational experience. Students in kindergarten through sixth grades come to art class approximately forty minutes a week. During art class students view and discuss art from the masters, multicultural art and artifacts, contemporary art, local art, and each other's art. We are inspired by stories, poems, internet sites, each other, and our own experiences. The students explore new materials and techniques to express their ideas. They create fine works of art, many of which end up in our public art show (see "Awards").
