PARENTS WE ENCOURAGE YOU TO BE SURE YOUR CHILD
  • Turns in every assignment on time. No credit is given for missing or late work
  • Gets assignments ahead of time if you know they are going to be gone from school
  • Keeps folders and notebooks organized.

Being organized is a key element of success in each of you classes.  Please make arrangements with a teacher if you need help with organizing  materials.

  • Writes assignments for every class in their planner daily.

  • Asks you to sign their planner every week before Wednesday.

Each core teacher will record grades in student planners on Monday.  On Wednesday teachers will check for a parent initial.

  • Attends school every day

  • Brings their library book to each class everyday.

 

  • FOR GEOGRAPHY

Extra credit is available every Friday.

Bring colored pencils every day.

 

  • FOR ENGLISH

Credit is given on a daily basis for using the attending skills in class.

Bring your calculator on Monday and Friday for grade updating.

English books may be checked out if you don't finish your assignment in class.

Extra credit is offered to all students each quarter.

  • FOR MATH

Assignments are due after two school days.

You may re-do any assignment on which you aren't satisfied with the grade.

All tests are open-book tests.

You may retake a test if you aren't satisfied with your score.

Extra credit is available weekly

  • FOR SCIENCE

A science current event summary paragraph is due every THURSDAY.

Complete you Question of the Day for extra credit.

  • FOR DISCOVERY

Bring your Discovery folder every day and actively participate.

  • FOR HOMEROOM (READING)

Bring your Reading folder and your library book.
